MARIANNE WILLIAMSON, 39

OWNER & THERAPIST

Marianne is the salon owner and therapist at Inner Balance. Her journey started in 1992 when her training began. Passionate about her business and the beauty industry she brings to you experience, knowledge and advanced skills, that she believes is a key part of being a therapist and salon owner and doesnt believe in cutting corners in any aspect of her business.

On the flip side out of work loves art, asian horror films, rock music, and she admits she is a bit of a games geek. Marianne is fascinated by Eastern philosophies. At the age of 13 got involved in martial arts and is a black belt in traditional Shotokan karate.

LISA MCPHEE, 32

RECEPTIONIST

Lisa is Inner Balance's receptionist, and you will find her working away Tuesday to Friday. Lisa has a friendly, calm and professional manner. Lisa has two sons so enjoys the peace and tranquility of working in the salon. She enjoys family activities and loves going to her zumba classes. Lisa is a total asset to Inner Balance.

Lisa is currently on maternity leave.

LAUREN JONES, 18

TRAINEE MAKE-UP ARTIST

Lauren also helps out on reception when needed and is bubbly and smiley and full of colour. Lauren loves musicals and the theatre. Having done art at college has had a change of direction and has decided to train to become a make-up artist which her art background will stand her in good stead.

ELLIE WHYTE, 17

TRAINEE BEAUTY THERAPIST

Ellie is our little helper and attending college to do beauty therapy which we highly recommend when taking a career in beauty, then when she has fully trained (basic foundation training takes 1 year with an additional 2 years there after to gain HND level) then she can specialise and do other courses but a basic foundation is key. She also helps on reception when needed.

Ellie is enthusiastic, loves fashion and keeping up with trends which is great for Inner Balance having a younger element that Marianne can pick ideas from.
